C.R Specialties LLC had been editing videos for quite
some time before the founding of Unusual Outdoors.
We were mainly occupied with the shooting and
editing of event videos, and other quite usual
outdoor adventures (hunting, fishing, you know: the
usual). Business continued like this until we were
invited to South Texas to participate in a deer capture.
Of course we jumped at the chance to travel and
video tape the operation. What ensued was the most
unusual experience we had ever had in the outdoors.
This was truly the beginning of Unusual Outdoors.
After being invited back to South Texas four years
running, we began to take the footage from the
expeditions and comprise them into one final
documentary. This documentary is all about how the
helicopter deer capture works, from the four-barrelled
net guns, to the pilot himself. Of course we stuck to
our roots and continue to provide professional, full
service videography to our clients.
